About us

In 2022, Lund City Hall was inaugurated after extensive renovations. We had been planning Lund's new meeting place for just as long. After running Gamla Franska in the Market Hall for five years, it was time for us to take on a bigger project. We opened the doors to Taperian, with its brewery and bakery, in November 2022 and have since had the pleasure of welcoming all our guests.

Taperian is a lively meeting place in the heart of Lund – and the city's oldest tapas bar. A Southern European food and drink experience with its own brewery. We serve our own draft beer and cider, import wines, cook everything from scratch, bake our own bread, and simply put our heart and soul into everything we do.

With the best sunny location on Stortorget in Lund, our Taperia is a welcoming meeting place for parties of all kinds. The inviting open kitchen focuses on the best that Spain has to offer in terms of food and drink, with influences from Italy and France. All packaged in mid sized dishes and tapas.

The Brewery

Our own Cerveceria is located in the basement just below Taperian. Here we brew all our beer and cider. We are the only microbrewery in Lund that actually brews the beer in Lund. Since day one we have only served our own beer and will continue to do so every day. You will not find anything from Carlsberg here! 😉
